Example - Create Data Set Preparing a reserves data set for operational scheduling |
Overview
In this brief exercise, you will package up the data that you have crafted throughout the managed Reserves workflow so that it can be easily interpreted by production scheduling functions.
Prerequisites

Exercise: Create your scheduling data set
Preparing a scheduling data set will not alter the contents of your reserves data. This step is used to ensure data is in the expected location(s) for further processing into a refined production schedule in the following exercises.
- Using the Reserves ribbon, select Schedule | Create Data Set
- On the Create Scheduling Data task panel, click New.
- Edit the "Set 1" default description to read "Studio Example Reserves Data".
- Click the Save and Close task icon at the top of the panel.
The reserves data has been prepared for operational scheduling.
